“I was just beginning to find myself when I found you…”

Kara + Kasey met in Bend, Oregon while Kara was partying hard with me and friends for my bachelorette party in 2018. They quickly began doing long distance between Bend and Springfield; at this very waterfall is where they’d meet up because it’s exactly halfway. I didn’t even know that when I was suggesting it as a location so that made it even more special.

The rain was intermittently mist and large droplets smacking us in the shoulders and face. The sounds from the river and falling water never silenced, only to be dulled by the immense energy radiating from Kara + Kasey. We had a trunk full of beers and while it was cold and snow lay on the ground, we had our smiles and Hop Valley Beer to keep us warm while we trudged up and down the trail with their pup, Delilah.

I’ve known Kara since I was a little girl playing basketball and it would take way too long to accurately describe everything that makes her friendship so fucking special to me. Plus there are lots of shenanigans I’d never want written in stone on the internet.
Needless to say, I’m pretty stoked on finally getting to know Kasey now, too!
Cheers to beer pong in the shop with these two until 7am laughing our asses off + talking about life, loss, and love.
Congratulations on your engagement!

My fiance and I had a marvelous time working with Jennifer. She has a great eye and can make even the most awkward of beasts look glamorous. My biggest worry was looking awkward on camera. She had no problem posing us yet making us look natural. She wasn’t afraid of bad weather conditions and made us feel so comfortable in her presence! 10/10 recommend!
